Leidos is seeking a highly motivated, energetic BI Tools Analyst / Developer to join our high performing team responsible for implementing the latest in enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) tools. We serve the Social Security Administration (SSA) and their mission to meet the changing needs of the public, positively impacting at least 65 million American lives per month.  Be part of the mission solution and help implement SSA’s Enterprise Tool Strategy. Foundation for Success (Basic Qualifications):

This experience is the foundation a candidate needs to be successful in this position:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
• Masters or Doctorate degree may substitute for required experience
• 4+ years of demonstrated design and development skills using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
• 2+ years of demonstrated design and development skills using WebFOCUS 8.

These skills will help you succeed in this position:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing Tableau visualization solutions.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience using WebFOCUS 8.
• Clear and precise written and oral communication skills.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience developing elaborate presentations to a wide audience.
• Successful experience in developing technical training materials for user guides.
• Ability to lead and present technical training in front of a wide audience composed of users, business leaders, and technical experts.
• Some hands-on experience and familiarity with other BI/ data technologies such as Business Objects, Oracle, Microstrategy, Power BI, SAS, R, Python, Excel, etc.
• Comfortable working in enterprise support services
• Resourcefulness and a self-starter

How to Stand Out from the Crowd (Desired Skills)

Showcase your knowledge of Tableau through the following experience or skills:

• Familiarity with Greenplum databases and Enterprise Data Warehouses.
• Federal Government experience.
• Tableau Prep and/or other Tableau products (Data management, Server management).

• Developing technical guides that include Tableau and/or WebFOCUS 8 standards / guidelines, best practices, tips and tricks, and other helpful diagrams and charts.
• Leading user working sessions aimed at providing insight on new features of upcoming upgrades for WebFOCUS 8, Tableau Desktop, and Tableau Server.
• Serve as a liaison between users, Tableau site administration and user support, and the technical platform team.
• Provide user acceptance testing of new features for Tableau and/or WebFOCUS 8 upgrades.
• Assisting users in creating and modifying worksheets and data visualization dashboards.

Education & Qualifications

• Master’s degree and 5+ years of experience in a training-related field or bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience in a training-related field
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust
