You will be providing your advanced customer support expertise to ensure DoD scientists have reliable access to these critical resources. You will be directly supporting the warfighter.
All of your work will be performed virtually and an Interim Secret Clearance is required to begin work on the program.
So, what will you be doing in this role?
Installation and verification of user-requested software applications. This shall include associated build environments, advanced libraries, software containers, and related models or data specifically needed to install and subsequently execute the applications. Three types of support cases include:
User request for a software application that is compatible with the existing HPC environment and will install and execute on HPC systems with varying degrees of build environments from simple to very complex. Support shall install the software and verify that it operates as intended.
User request for a software application that may not be compatible with the existing HPC system environment. Support shall determine whether the application can be installed and executed. If the application can be installed, Support shall install the software with varying degrees of build environments and verify that it operates as intended. If the application cannot be installed or requires higher level assistance, Support shall escalate the user request to the next service level.
User request for help in identifying what software application to install for his/her problem. Support shall determine whether existing software within the software portfolio can satisfy the user requirement. If an application is identified and requires installation for the user, then Support shall install the software with varying degrees of build environments and verify that it operates as intended. If a software application does not exist or Support does not have the expertise to identify a software application, Support shall escalate the user request to the next service level.
Research and development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Concept of Operations (ConOps), and/or Workflows of internal/external ticket routing when transitioning trouble tickets within tiered support of the program and when external support or expertise is required. This includes coordination with other support groups’ SOPs, ConOps, and/or Workflows, as required.

- Must hold an active in scope Secret clearance prior to start. (US Citizenship required)
- Must hold a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 12 years related experience
- Communicates effectively both orally and in a written form with users and office staff
Pay Range:Pay Range $113,100.00 - $174,000.00 - $234,900.00
