Leidos is seeking experienced Continuity of Ops (COOP)/Continuity of Govt (COG) for our client’s operational requirements on a mission focused program within a challenging, dynamic setting located in the Virginia and Maryland area. Successful candidates in this position will collaborate with a diverse group of individuals across the intelligence community and directly contribute to development and implementation of COOP/COG.
Primary Responsibilities: Continuity of Ops (COOP)/Continuity of Govt (COG)
Assist on the development, updating, and publishing of COOP Plans, CONOPS, and policies. Conduct business process analysis to recommend plans and procedures to maintain mission-essential function support during a requirement for alternate work schedule during all levels of impact from natural disaster to acts of war. Apply in-depth understanding of emergency management procedures and policy, planning for temporary work locations or alternate facilities, maintain primary and alternate points of contact, planning for protecting Government-furnished equipment, and developing procedures for safeguarding sensitive and classified Government information. Spectrum of planning includes but not limited to plan and concept of operation (CONOPS) development, appropriate communication systems and personnel identification, resource utilization, and training and exercise execution. Draft and maintain policies, plans, and procedures describing how the IC executes continuity capabilities to meet specified requirements. Review draft national and IC policies on topics related to COOP/COG, to include but not limited to preparedness, mission assurance, resilience, risk management, and IT disaster recovery, to assess potential implications to IC continuity programs.

BA degree and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2+ years of prior relevant experience. Experience can be exchanged for education.

Pay Range:Pay Range $74,750.00 - $115,000.00 - $155,250.00
