As part of the Leidos team as a TRICARE Overseas Program Training Manager, you will oversee all training activities in the three regions of the TRICARE Overseas Program (TOP) - Eurasia Africa, Latin America and Canada (TLAC), and the Pacific. Expected travel will range up to 25%, depending on site needs.  This great job opportunity makes a difference for so many of our valued military families!

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Develop and maintain TOP course content, training materials, and training related documentation.

  • Train new TOP team members and conduct refresher training according to the training plan or as needed.

  • Manage TOP training records and provide reporting data as needed.

  • Manage TOP training resources on the Leidos online learning management system, MHS Train.

  • Supervise 1 training coordinator and conduct a mid-year and annual performance review.

  • Review contract modifications and TRICARE Operations Manual and TRICARE Policy Manual changes; provide feedback to TOP Program Manager on impact to program, policies and procedures, training, and staffing.

  • Develop, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures and Job Aids as needed.

  • Collaborate with TOP Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to implement and audit relevant training materials and job aids.

  • Prepare contract deliverables and attend meetings with the customer as needed.

  • Participate in recommending, developing, modifying, and executing policies and procedures.

  • Serve as subject matter expert on all systems used in program operations including but not limited to FOCUS, DEERS, DOES, OpsConnect, DSO, CHCS, and CRM.

  • Assist staff with eligibility and enrollment issues

  • Research and stay up to date on technical topics.

  • Conduct interviews as requested.

  • Some travel may be required.

  • Flexibility in work hours is required to support all regions.

  • Other duties as assigned.

FACTORS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Five years’ cumulative experience in the development, execution, and delivery of formal training programs and staff development.

  • Three years’ experience in U.S. military healthcare delivery system or civilian managed care medical/administrative environment preferred.

HOW TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD:

  • Fluent in English.

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.

  • Effective presentation skills.

  • Computer literate with Internet research experience.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office—Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Detail-oriented.

  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

PREFERRED:

Knowledge of TRICARE Overseas programs, DEERS, DOES, and CHCS a plus.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $81,900.00 - $126,000.00 - $170,100.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
