Job Description:

Leidos has an immediate opening for a Senior Software Analyst.  We are seeking motivated individuals who wish to grow their professional and technical skills.  Together with a highly skilled and respected team, we support some of the nation’s leading elected officials and government agencies. This is an exceptional opportunity to gain experience supporting our FedRAMP Authorized Cloud-based solutions and to develop knowledge in Oracle, solution architecture, and web-based solutions.   Collaborating with various teams including software developers, engineers, quality assurance experts and service desk teammates, this role serves as an escalation resource who helps ensure customer success and satisfaction with the chance to innovate and introduce emerging technologies to our customers. 

In your new role, you will be responsible for investigating reported software defects or performance issues and identifying recommended solutions.  To troubleshoot software issues, you will use SQL and other tools to determine root cause.  You will also evaluate customer requests for software enhancements and changes and provide suggestions on design where appropriate.

Our products and services include the leading CRM used by the majority of the U.S. Congress, our Nation’s governors, and leading elected officials at the federal, state, and local levels.  Our SaaS solutions integrate with leading data vendors, social media applications, and office solutions to help our customers deliver critical services to their constituents.  We also provide a wide range of Information Technology (IT) services and constituent engagement solutions. 

The selected individual can choose remote or onsite work location. 

Basic Qualifications

  • Requires BS degree and 4-8 years of experience. Will consider 8 plus years of related experience in lieu of a BS degree.

  • At least one year of technology experience supporting high-profile customers and end-users.

  • Experience writing relational database queries for stored procedures, query optimization and performance tuning

  • Ability to write basic SQL statements.  

  • Ability to evaluate and update HTML code

  • Troubleshooting skills for working with web-based software in an enterprise network environment. For example, root-cause analysis to rule out environmental factors (network, desktop, user process etc.) as opposed to software defects.

  • Ability to use various tools (browser developer mode, SQL, scripting, etc.) to troubleshoot, identify and isolate software problems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical Customer support experience specific to CRM software.

  • Experience working with Capitol Hill Congressional clients.

  • Knowledge or experience with Oracle

Pay Range:

Pay Range $74,750.00 - $115,000.00 - $155,250.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
