Job Description:

The Leidos Enterprise & Cyber Solutions Defense Group is seeking a Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM) Manager to support our N2NOMS program in Colorado Springs, CO.  Our customer maintains a highly demanding mission and requires our support to provide expert technical and professional management support to the commands enterprise Information Technology (IT) services.  The SACM Manager will support a program that provides sustainment, maintenance, Problem and Change management services to help ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of the Department of Defense IP networks.

This position will report directly to the Projects Team Lead.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Works independently as the SACM hardware/software point of contact, with little oversight to achieve day-to-day objectives, by managing all activities related to hardware/software requests for N&NC.

  • Develops, maintains and is responsible for the accuracy of the N&NC hardware/software catalog, which is the master spreadsheet per network of all hardware/software approved for use on N&NC networks.  Ensures the repository is accessible to N&NC personnel.

  • Engages directly with Government customers, team members and management regularly to update, maintain and edit the approved hardware/software catalog.

  • Tracks and maintains software licensing to prevent over utilization of controlled software products, provides documentation for metadata to software and licensing requirements and provides status updates on current license accounts.

  • Researches and determines the appropriate software to replace obsolete software with similar functionality, produces Bill of Materials for purchases and provides a technical evaluation of vendor quotes for accuracy prior to contract awards.

  • Maintains and modifies a central Configuration Management Database (CMDB) repository for the NORAD and USNORTHCOM (N&NC) information technology enterprise.

  • Coordinates with other managers across the contract to update and integrate enterprise artifacts into the CMDB.

  • Updates and maintains baseline configuration management artifacts and metadata for systems.

  • Prepares change requests for new hardware and software requirements and briefs at Change Approval Board (CAB).

  • Produces monthly reports and semi-annual True-Up reports. 

  • Maintain software assets and license information in at least two definitive media libraries (DMLs).

  • Downloads patches and software and pushes to the appropriate team for testing.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s with 4+ years of experience or Masters with 2+ years of experience; additional years of directly applicable experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

  • Currently possess an active Secret security clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance.

  • CompTIA Security +ce certification

  • Experience using MS Visio, MS Excel and Government ticketing systems.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in associated field.

  • Excellent project, technical, interpersonal, presentation and problem management skills.

  • Ability to communicate orally, and in writing, detailed technical information.

  • Familiarization of NORAD/USNORTHCOM missions and DOD regulations and directives.

Target Salary: $81,000-86,000

N2NOMS

Pay Range:

Pay Range $57,850.00 - $89,000.00 - $120,150.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
