Provides technical support, either within the company or in support of customer contracts, on assignments using established procedures. Candidates are primarily engaged in the technical or scientific disciplines through the course of college study. SCOPE: Under general supervision, performs a wide variety of duties in support of technical or administrative assignments using established procedures. May assist in the preparation, presentation, and follow-up of proposals with supervision. May also participate in activities in support of multiple projects. May independently perform work as assigned by Management. Employee may have limited autonomy for an assigned area or responsibility within a function.
Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.
Contributions are usually limited to assignment related activities. Decisions or failure to achieve results may cause delays in schedules. LIAISON: Interacts daily with supervisor, peer groups. May have (limited) interaction with customers. Interaction normally involves exchanges or presentation of factual information.
