Leidos is looking for a Software Engineer who designs Windows and/or Linux software applications or systems based on government-driven requirements for the purpose of collecting, processing, and/or dissemination of data.
•Participates in the development of modernized software solutions to meet the customer’s needs
•Creates and implements the source code of new applications
•Tests and debugs code
•Evaluates existing applications and performs updates and modifications
•Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
•Participates in development of software user manuals
•Bachelor's degree and 4 to 8 years of prior relevant experience OR Master's degree and 2 to 6 years of prior relevant experience
•6+ years of technical experience as a developer
•Experience in deriving design specifications for functional activities
•Ability to develop, troubleshoot, and test complex software to satisfy design objectives for applicable Government computer equipment
•Bachelors of Science (B.S.) Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
•Must be a US Citizen.
•Must have Top Secret Clearance – Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Eligible
•Experience in Agile Development methodologies
Pay Range:Pay Range $74,750.00 - $115,000.00 - $155,250.00
