Leidos Health is seeking a Sr. Storage Engineer to help support the Veterans Affairs Electronic Health Records Modernization (VA EHRM) Program. The Storage Engineer will plan, design, implement, administer, and support storage infrastructure technologies.

The Veterans Affairs Electronic Health Records Modernization (VA EHRM) Program at Leidos encompasses four primary areas:  Project Management, Business Analysis and Documentation, Data Migration, and Program Management Office.  Our mission is to support Cerner in implementing a modern electronic health records system for Veterans Affairs Medical Centers and clinics around the world.  This new EHR, for one of the largest health systems in the world with over 9 million participants, will also integrate with the Department of Defense, US Coast Guard, and select community care providers who will have access to a veteran’s full health history.  Additionally, an enhanced patient portal and new centralized scheduling are directly enhancing veterans’ interactions with their care.  This new advanced system, combined with interoperability, will greatly strengthen veterans’ healthcare.  Join our great team in supporting our veterans and improving their healthcare experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plan and prepare for disaster recovery, storage capacity, and provide performance analysis.
  • Ensure a high level of storage availability and reliability of storage infrastructure.
  • Monitor storage capacity and performance, and provision storage for use.
  • Troubleshoot storage system performance and capacity issues.
  • Support multiple storage and database technologies, including Netapp, 3Par, PowerMax, etc.
  • Must be able to participate and support a 24/7 On-call rotation with strong troubleshooting skills as a Storage SME.

Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required and 10-15 years of experience.
  • US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. Federal Government requirement.
  • Remote work experience.
  • Travel ability of up to 10%.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $101,400.00 - $156,000.00 - $210,600.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
