Job Description:
Leidos is seeking an experienced mission and customer service focused IT Operations Manager to join our team providing mission critical support to our Federal Government customer.
The candidate will support the program management team and is responsible for all IT operations on all networks supported. This includes the following:
Network Operations
System Administration
Voice and Video Services
Help Desk Services
Network Operations Center (monitoring)
Desktop Support
Data Center Management Services
Primary Responsibilities:
The IT Operations Manager is responsible for all activities required to operate, maintain, and continually improve all networks supported.
Provide oversight of all activities performed by contractor personnel to satisfy contract service delivery requirements.
Defining and achieving key performance indicators (KPI) that demonstrate delivery of value to customers.
Driving a culture of continual service improvement and innovation to improve the customer experience.
Act as the primary program POC interfacing with several key customers. Regular in person meetings and detailed briefings will be held at the various customer sites in the Washington DC Metro area as well as other customer locations.
Manage and maintain the IT lifecycles, tech refresh of hardware and software, and the management of all CIs supporting the enterprise environments.
Establish and maintain exceptional customer service with proactive management and implementation of continuous services improvements.
Act as the point of escalation for staff and customers.
Attract and retain IT technical talent.
Lead the support of a 24x7x365 mission critical environment
Basic Qualifications:
Requires a BA degree and 15+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 13+ years of prior relevant experience
Extensive IT Operations management experience providing mission critical support 24x7x365
Demonstrated experience in the successful IT operations and management of all aspects of maintaining classified enterprise IT and telecommunication services at customer and other infrastructure locations.
Working knowledge of managing classified enterprise IT and telecommunication asset inventories.
Working knowledge of managing classified enterprise IT and telecommunication operation and maintenance services (e.g., Service Desk, Deskside Support, NOC, PKI Registration Authority, COMSEC material custody,).
Working knowledge of managing and maintaining the IT and telecommunication lifecycles; replacement of hardware and software and the management of consumables and sparing inventories.
Extensive successful in managing service delivery that meets/exceeds SLA targets
Excellent written, verbal and presentation experience with both technical and non-technical audiences at employee and executive levels
ITIL certification
Academic experience in information Technology, Software engineering, Computer engineering, or business administration
Active TS clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Active TS/SCI
Pay Range:
Pay Range $105,300.00 - $162,000.00 - $218,700.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
