Leidos is seeking an experienced and technical IT Deputy Program Manager to lead a high visibility and strategic IT Task Order. The Program Manager will be the trusted advisor to high level government officials and will set the direction and oversee IT functions. He/She will be required to interface with customer and Leidos executives frequently. This Program Manager will be the primary point of contact for all customer requirements and interactions, understanding customer needs, and leveraging Leidos innovative solutions to solve complex problems.
Candidate must have direct project or program management experience in delivery of IT Engineering and/or Operations functions. The Program Manager shall have demonstrated capabilities in providing vision and driving a Program organization towards a target level. He/she shall have capabilities to analyze highly complex IT and network issues, recommend plans of action for staff (including both contractor and government personnel), and manage teams supporting resolution of these issues. This individual will serve as the main point of contact for the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), the Government leadership personnel, and Leidos senior management.
Primary Responsibilities
The deputy program manager is the Leidos authorized interface with the FEDSIM CO, FEDSIM COR, and DHS Technical POCs for the program / task order (TO) in absence of the PM.
The PM/DPM is ultimately responsible for the quality and efficiency of the TO including both technical issues and business processes.
The PM assigns tasking to contractor personnel, supervises on-going technical efforts, and manages overall TO performance.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field.
Active SECRET or TS clearance
Active Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent certification.
Active Certified ITIL Version 3 Foundations.
Experience serving as a Project Manager for multiple IT systems integration, engineering and implementation projects in simultaneous execution (e.g., design, implementation, O&M) involving the construction and renovation of facilities and the relocation of a large user populations (e.g., campus build out, base realignment, Pentagon renovation, or major corporate or Government move).
Experience serving as a Project Manager on a performance-based cost reimbursable contract.
Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, including experience in presenting material to senior Government officials and communicating and coordinating with other Government contractors and industry.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in business or technical field.
Active ITIL Version 4 certificates.
Recent Department of Homeland Security / St. Elizabeth’s headquarters campus IT infrastructure familiarity
Pay Range:
Pay Range $118,300.00 - $182,000.00 - $245,700.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
