More About the Role:
The SMIT Enterprise Service Delivery Domain Architect is a career opportunity to join Leidos in support of the U.S. Navy’s Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) program. SMIT is a high-visibility DoD program that provides engineering and service management support for the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI).
The Enterprise Service Delivery Domain Architect aligns closely with the ITSM Engineering team, which designs & implements Service Design, Service Transition, Operational Service Delivery and Continual Service Improvement projects for the US government client. The primary objective of the Enterprise Service Delivery Domain Architect is collaborating with solution architects, sales proposal managers and program managers to evaluate and respond to government requests for service management services and technology solutions. Candidates must be able to envision, propose, design, and engineer end-to-end services and IT solutions that meet contractual performance requirements and provide customer value. The job role engineer MBSE functional baselines, service design packages and whitepapers. The baseline artifacts are used to integrate and update solutions operating within the government Navy Marine Corps Intranet infrastructure. Extensions into hybrid cloud and As-a-Service are included. A strong understanding and working knowledge of ITIL, Agile, Cloud and DoD computing environment is recommended.

-Experience in developing service base process and procedures in a public sector environment.
-Identifying, articulating, and supporting Continual Improvement activities.
-Understanding of how technology, process, tools, and people integrate to provide effective solutions.
-Experience evaluating, selecting, and applying Service Management principles, policies and techniques in client operational environments.
-The ability to be flexible, good time management skills to effectively meet deadlines.
-Experience working in a virtual (telework) and joint management environment.
-Awareness and understanding of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) governance.
-Client Relationship Management - Build effective relationships with client and peers at all levels.
-Understanding of Sec Dev Ops functions and agile development methodologies.
-Experience with enterprise Service Delivery requirement analysis and/or architecture synthesis and design.
-Experience collaborating with other enterprise technologists to resolve complex technical issues.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
•Requires B.S. Degree and 12-15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10-13 years of prior relevant experience (in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university).
•Must be a U.S. Citizen with active Secret or higher level of clearance.
•12+ or more years’ experience of relevant experience on IT or Service Management based contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
•ITIL 4 Foundations certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of job start date.
•Travel may be required.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
•Experience applying systems engineering fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments.
•Experience with Agile/Scrum.
•Experience working on DoD programs.
•Familiarity with industry MBSE tools and modeling methodologies to successfully produce systems engineering models.
•Familiarity with DODAF products.
•Familiarity with DESMF or ITSM.
-Other SE related certifications.
Pay Range:Pay Range $113,100.00 - $174,000.00 - $234,900.00
