Job Description:
Leidos Enterprise & Cyber Solutions Defense team is seeking a Cyber Incident Handler to support one our most important defense programs located at Fort Huachuca. All work will be performed on customer site. You will be responsible for detecting, responding to, and neutralizing unauthorized computer intrusions on Department of the Army information systems throughout the continental United States.

Clearance: An Active DOD Top Secret Clearance is required in order to qualify for this role.
Salary Target: $85,000-90,000
What will you do in this role?
Use a variety of tools and resources, perform system and network analysis of suspected or potential security incidents
Document all steps and techniques used during analysis in an incident database
Report found indicators of compromise to allow for internal defensive measures to be developed
Develop and maintain necessary procedures or scripts to identify cybersecurity incidents
Keep up-to-date with Cyber Security trends and capabilities
Work and interact with other DCO professionals internal and external to Army Cyber Command, law enforcement to include Counter Intelligence (CI) LNOs, and intelligence professionals as a technical specialist to understand higher-level adversary capabilities
Assist the team in updating and maintaining standard operating procedures
Demonstrate familiarity/experience with a wide range of network/system detection, prevention, and analysis tools.
Complete other duties/responsibilities as assigned
To be successful in this role you should have familiarity with the following computer network defense technologies:
Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems
Network and Host Intrusion Detection Systems / Intrusion Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS)
Network and Host malware detection and prevention
Network traffic analysis tools
You should also have a basic understanding of how to analyze the following data sets:
Proxy logs
Firewall logs
PCAP data
Host based security event alerts
Windows system and event logs
These are the required qualifications...
HS Diploma and 6 years, or AA/AS Degree and 4 years, or BA/BS Degree and 2 years of experience are required, with a Cyber Security focus preferre
Must hold a current IAT II Security+CE certification upon hire
Must successfully obtain CSSP-IR certification (CEH or equivalent) within 60-days from hire
Must successfully obtain Computing Environment (CE) certification within 180-days from hire
Must hold an active Top Secret SCI clearance

Pay Range:
Pay Range $60,450.00 - $93,000.00 - $125,550.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
