Leidos’ Dynetics Group is seeking a Software Systems Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems within our Leidos Innovations Center (LInC)
The Software Systems Engineer will work closely with the Lead Systems Engineer and multiple subsystem vendors to integrate tools within a digital toolchain, create workflows to enable data transfers between tools and domains, manage the PLM system for the program, and create MBSE models that represent the software exchanges. The selected candidate will present the systems engineering artifacts developed to the customer in formal design reviews and will serve as a customer liaison in many of their programs.
The Software Systems Engineer will support multiple programs at once in a variety of engineering fields with many different team environments. The candidate will join a diverse team of systems engineers within Leidos and have the opportunity to work on programs from their preferred background, as well as challenge themselves by working on programs outside of their expertise.
The Software Systems Engineer will have the opportunity to lead the digital engineering efforts on LInC programs, serving as the digital engineering representative to program management and coordinating activities among multiple digital and systems engineers.
Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of experience or Master’s degree.
The candidate must have experience with API development.
The candidate should have knowledge of PLM tools and workflows.
The candidate should have experience with system simulation including interpreting the results of stochastic models
Position requires candidates to be capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.
Candidate must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.
Candidate must be a US Citizen eligible for a Secret clearance. Active clearance preferred.
Object Management Group (OMG) Certified System Modeler Professional (OCSMP) certification
INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP)
Experience with Ansys Modelcenter, Intercax Syndeia, Cameo System Modeler, and/or Matlab.
Experience supporting DoD, NASA, or DARPA programs
Experience with aerospace domain models and simulation
Pay Range:Pay Range $94,250.00 - $145,000.00 - $195,750.00
