Job Description:
The Defense Group at Leidos is currently seeking a Test Engineer to support to the DCGS-N SSI team in San Diego, California. The test engineering will support the testing and verification of the DCGS-N capabilities in the various environments required by the DCGS-N program to include in the government provided lab, in the cloud-based OSA environment, and in mission modules. You will work as part of a specialized team to achieve objectives and project deliverables.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist in planning the way forward for the development, integration, and testing of future DCGS-N software iterations
Aid testing tasks during major test events, such as Application Integration SIT, CANES testing, and end-to-end testing
Provide support as directed to testing events and develop test documentation
Support to develop a plan that aligns with design, development, and testing of each IR requirement set
Provide support by recommending industry-based practices for incorporating testing, security, and operations representation into the Agile Team early and continuously in the application lifecycle
Provide support for continuous and automated testing across the software development lifecycle (Lifecycle phases include - plan; develop; build; test; release; deliver; deploy; operate; monitor)
Support all shipboard testing activities for software integrated into each SIT environment and related Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) activities in the ship environment
Support the development and implementation of Shipboard Operational Verification Testing (SOVT)
Support shall include reviewing Government test procedures and integration document, providing feedback to these documents. This testing shall be performed after shipboard installation, and will ensure correct system operation and shipboard interface requirements have been met
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical field and 4+ years related experience.
Exposure to computer-based applications similar to those required for this position to include Socket GXP, GALE, GCCS-J and FADE
DoD Top Security/SCI Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Specific experience with DCGS-N and C5ISR systems
Pay Range:
Pay Range $59,150.00 - $91,000.00 - $122,850.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
