This is an exciting time to contribute to a mission-critical program with lasting impactful results. Leidos is currently looking to add an experienced Signals Analyst to a growing task. The Signals Analyst will work closely with the software development, systems engineering, and test team to provide signals analysis and subject matter expertise as the team refines and builds applications to enable mission. Working knowledge and understanding of modulation theory and practical application such as forward error correction, encoding schemes such as Reed Solomon, and an understanding of how the various modulation techniques (FSK, TDMA, MSK, etc) are used to transfer information is necessary. Candidates should have a working knowledge of analytic tools such as WVT, DVT, SAT Tools, BLACKMAGIC, etc. Experience with bit level analysis is desired. The candidate should have experience with various enterprise tools. Day to day activities include working with Software Developers and Systems Engineers to refine requirements, provide insight in application design, test developed applications and provide feedback, and work with other SMEs.
Primary Responsibilities:
Performing bit level analysis.
Utilizing various enterprise tools (e.g. WVT, DVT, SAT Tools, BLACKMAGIC, etc ).
Working with TOPIs, Software Developers and Systems Engineers to refine requirements, provide insight into tasking, application design, test developed applications and provide feedback, and work with other SMEs.
Basic Qualifications:
Twenty (20) years of professional experience supporting a military and/or government cryptologic mission. - Ten years of SIGINT related experience either military or government related in analysis or SIGINT operations.
The qualified candidate will have relevant work experience and subject matter expertise in at least three of the following: (1) Formal training on and a working knowledge of Linux (2) SIGINT Metadata analysis (DNR) (3) Digital Network Intelligence (DNI) (4) Geo-Spatial Metadata Analysis (GMA) (5) NGW Metadata Analysis and Correlation (6) Hands-on experience with RF collection and or geolocation/direction finding equipment.
TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $105,300.00 - $162,000.00 - $218,700.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
