The NASA AEGIS contract currently has an opening for a Senior Vendor Relationship Manager to work in Huntsville, AL. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping NASA AEGIS in its mission to provide excellent enterprise communications services to NASA.
Primary Responsibilities
List daily duties and/or specific job responsibilities.
Manages the Vendor Engagement Team for the AEGIS program as it relates to enterprise agreements (EA) and gathering requirements for software and hardware maintenance renewals. The team will also track and manage associated vendor credits (i.e. training/conferences) that are accredited to the contract due to purchasing through a particular vendor. The team will maintain EA vendor portals and oversee issuance of accounts to responsible groups within AEGIS, but the team will act as the root account holder on these vendor portals when it comes to hardware and software maintenance.
Oversees vendor engagement across the enterprise to ensure that AEGIS achieves economies of scale across the contract and minimizes multiple individual stovepipe maintenance contracts for specific groups unless strictly required or that group is the only customer. The team actively tracks and identifies duplication of licensing vehicles and consolidates those contracts under the AEGIS enterprise umbrella. Reports monthly on the status of EAs and consolidation efforts. The team maintains all public facing certificate subscriptions through third part providers such as DigiCert and Entrust and notifies. The team will research and present new and innovative ideas for proactively tracking and monitoring these services.
Basic Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Requires a BA degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or equivalent years of experience.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $84,500.00 - $130,000.00 - $175,500.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
