Job Description:
Leidos is seeking a Chief Infrastructure Engineer to support a DevSecOps program to lead and operating under the SAFe Agile Framework. The successful Engineer will have a full understanding of the principles of network and systems engineering, will have prior experience as an Infrastructure Network Systems Engineer on a major program involving accepting and integrating infrastructure solutions and systems. She/he will use their experience in system and infrastructure engineering and will be responsible for working with customers and suppliers to execute Systems Engineering activities across the full lifecycle. The Chief Infrastructure Engineer will be engaged in the development, review, and test of infrastructure components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. Coordinates and reports on reported system issues. Promotes and drives infrastructure engineering and design methodologies appropriate to the development, test, production, and environments. Provides oversight and specific input to the component system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, system reuses, use of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS)/Government Off-The- Shelf (GOTS), and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual system components with particular emphasis on complex networking topics.
Primary Responsibilities
Designs and configures cloud architecture, configures cloud integration efforts, and implement plans for hosting complex application workloads.
Acts as technical liaison between operations teams, engineers, and architects, providing critical operational insight to upcoming implementations and strategies, including validation of ongoing solutions supportability.
Develops/maintains systems configurations and executes administration and operational duties on computer systems while maintaining data/information as required.
Responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical Microsoft server systems.
Manage server patching through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.
Configure and maintain Windows servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end. Enact good systems engineering practices in Linux and Windows environments.
Engage in full lifecycle management of a systems environment, project delivery subject to customer direction and technical development of the core system.
Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems and provide innovative solutions.
Create and maintain system technical documentation from design through sustainment and system enhancements.
Supervise and manage routine system maintenance and resolve server-side issues
Supervise and manage system backups in compliance with enterprise standards
Basic Qualifications
Extensive experience designing and configuring cloud architecture, configures cloud integration efforts and implement plans for hosting complex application workloads

Extensive experience with virtualization technologies e.g. Vmware, Hyper-V
Extensive experience with backups, restores and recovery models, e.g. Veeam, BackupExec
Extensive experience with LINUX MS Windows Server administration and associated technologies such as AD, DNS & DHCP.
Candidate must be a US Citizen
Candidate must have an active TS/SCI
Candidate must have a MS 20 years of prior relevant experience.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $142,350.00 - $219,000.00 - $295,650.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
