More About the Role:
This ITSM position on the U.S. Navy’s Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) will allow participation on a high-visibility DoD program that provides engineering support to the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI), the largest information technology (IT) network in the world. Under SMIT, the Leidos team delivers the core backbone of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet, including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport. Ultimately, Leidos supports the Navy in unifying its shore-based networks and data management to improve capability and service while also saving significant dollars by focusing efforts under one enterprise network.
Leidos is seeking IT Service Management (ITSM) experts to support efforts for SMIT; a successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring processes and procedures are written and followed for change, configuration, release, and deployment management. These processes will enforce accurate configuration accounting and authorized changes from categorization, approval and implementation are executed for the network.
What You'll Get to Do:
•Creating, reviewing and updating of the change management process to ensure compliance with Navy directives.
•Creating reports on the configuration of the NMCI network using a configuration management system.
•Monitoring of the release and deployment management process.
•Creating and maintaining of Release and Deployment Plans and reporting on pre-testing of deployments.
•Creating and maintaining Requests for Change.
•Creating and maintaining the Requirements Traceability Matrix.
•Collaborate with team members to achieve goals, including participation in meetings with the government.
•Recommend process updates and changes based on lessons learned, feedback from customers, and other information.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
-Requires B.S. Degree and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience.
-US Citizen and DoD Secret Clearance.
•Requires understanding of the ITSM processes and interfaces.
•ITIL 4 Foundation.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
•Experience with Navy Process Reference Model (NPRM).
•Experience with NMCI Program.
•Experience with HPSM and Remedy change management offerings.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $66,300.00 - $102,000.00 - $137,700.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
