The QRC Airborne ISR Systems Division of the Airborne Solutions Group of Leidos currently has an opening for an Integrated Logistics Support Manager supporting the PSS-T program. Leidos is the Product Support Management and Logistics lead for an unmanned aerial intelligence platform located in various CONUS and OCONUS operational areas and depots. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Persistent Surveillance Systems – Tethered (PSS-T) program.

What’s in it for you?

The Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Manager for the PSS-T program is responsible for leading a team of logisticians in support of the PSS-T Program. The ILS Manager will monitor and plan program supply posture for operations and sustainment requirements to ensure stock availability for activities such as continued operations in unique areas of responsibility, new system fielding, upgrades, configuration changes through Engineering Service Requests (ESRs) or modification to required payload capabilities, and system level reset of retrograded systems. ILS Manager is also responsible for the industrial safety program, logistics database training, and product support management activities such as the monthly Product Support Management Integrated Product Team Meetings, supportability analysis, and monitoring and reporting performance-based logistics metrics.

THE CHALLENGE (primary responsibilities)

-Responsible for maintaining Logistics Supply Health Analysis Report.

-Responsible for the development of Performance Based Logistics Metric (PBLM) reports from each of the operational sites/systems and providing PMO staff and other stakeholders information about critical response efforts, operational availability metrics, intra-theater personnel movement, down time for weather or operational related incidents, maintenance status, sparing posture and more.

-Interface with key stakeholders to ensure success in program planning and execution efforts, capture and disseminate information pertinent to leadership, and improve overall performance based logistics metrics by developing smooth workflows for the cross-functional teams responsible for operations and sustainment of the PSS-T fleet.

-Responsible for managing systems, support equipment, spares, consumables, and special tool configurations and the applicable supply posture re-order points in the logistics database which correlate to each type of system in the PSS-T Family of Systems.

-Forecast available supply on hand, with current configurations, against future configurations, program plans, reset activities, and obsolescence issues calculating execution risk and potential program cost to meet desired posture.

-Lead efforts in developing exercise parts lists for Quick Reaction Capable (QRC) systems.

-Forecast procurement requirements and costs for contract option years.

-Support Logistics Sustainability products by managing team of logistics engineers responsible for development of supportability analysis products such as Reliability Block Diagrams (RBD), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Level of Repair Analysis, Maintenance Task Analysis, and other required analysis.

-Responsible for generating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Quick Reference Cards (QRC), and Program Directives to aid in completion of team tasks in a uniform fashion. 

-Manage the logistics training lead with oversight of the training program.

-Manage the program industrial safety lead with oversight of the industrial safety program.

-Manage the System Level Reset (SLR) Lead responsible for oversight of the system reset program at Tobyhanna Army Depot.

-Provide slides and lead Logistics section for Program Sync calls and Program Management Reviews during Program Manager absence.

-Consultant for the PM of Logistic in process improvement/development efforts.

-Other duties as assigned in response to contractual reporting or mission requirements.

WHAT SETS YOU APART (basic qualifications)

  • Bachelor Degree with minimum of eight (8) years of operations or logistics management experience (two years’ experience can be substituted for degree)

  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience leading a team to solve problems that are unclear and require a thorough understanding of program requirements and resources.

  • Experience briefing and developing reports for executive leadership, excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Experience teaching employees’ new skills and resources to improve their ability to respond to unclear problems.

  • Ability to monitor and manage a team responsible for several different but interrelated objectives.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Security Clearance Requirement

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience and demonstrated proficiency using an Integrated Data Environment to pull together analysis and make major program supply planning decisions.

  • Experience developing Performance Based Logistics Metrics (PBLM) reports.

  • Experienced with reading engineering drawings to derive system configurations.

  • Experience with maintenance and supportability planning, supply distribution, Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) planning and implementation and parts provisioning.

  • Experience using technical manuals and maintenance instructions.

  • Experience developing operating procedures, evaluating workflows, and program requirements to gain efficiencies.

  • Experience managing direct reports who have their own teams and area of expertise.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $72,150.00 - $111,000.00 - $149,850.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
