We are hiring a Program Manager for a technical development program supporting mission critical work providing cutting edge and innovative solutions. As the PM, you will lead the entire technical program team through the planning, organizing, development and delivery of capabilities for the customer’s mission. The successful candidate will provide effective communication to your PMO support staff, the program, customer, and all levels of management. You will ensure that the program runs within scope, on schedule, and within budget constraints. You must have the ability to handle multiple tasks, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure and with tight timelines.
Primary Responsibilities:
As the Program Manager you will be responsible to:
Coordinate with the customer and understand the technical and mission needs to lead the teams in providing solutions
Serve as point of contact for senior customer and Leidos leadership; provide regular program updates and reporting as required
Coordinate with program PMO support to ensuring smooth contract operations
Work with contract technical leadership to direct work efforts that align with the missions and deliverables
Coordinate across technical and organizational boundaries
Effectively communicate across the team, functional organizations, and customer groups
Proactively identify and mitigate risks; identify, and capitalize on opportunities
Establish and maintains an inclusive work environment consistent with Leidos values and ethics
Deliver appropriate monthly status and financial reports
Prepare and run the program reviews on a quarterly basis.
Identify and support areas of training for the team to maintain its technical advantage
Basic Qualifications:
TS/SCI with poly
Prior experience with programs of similar size and complexity
Experience with the customer and the customer’s mission
BS/BA degree with 8+ years of prior onsite Program Management relevant experience
Ability to lead others and clearly convey complex technical concepts
Proven leadership skills in a complex technical environment with tight restrictions and a diverse work force (4+ years of experience)
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior Software/Application development with Lead roles
PMP certification
Pay Range:
Pay Range $118,300.00 - $182,000.00 - $245,700.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
