Job Description:
The candidate will perform as the Project Manager on a program supporting classified network infrastructure environments. The candidate will support the program management team and is responsible for identifying opportunities for improvements, developing schedules, building requirements, and working with customers/stakeholders to ensure that end user mission activities are fulfilled. The candidate will coordinate project activities with the engineering, security, deployment, and operations teams and provide status updates to the customer.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Classified Network Project Manager is responsible for all activities required to operate, maintain, and continually improve the network.
Provide oversight of all activities performed by contractor personnel to satisfy the contract requirements.
Serve as the primary interface between the contractor and the government for all required project status information, tasking, risk management, coordination, staffing, scheduling and problem resolution. Regular in person meetings and detailed briefings will be held at the various customer sites in the Washington DC Metro area.
Provide regular briefings and status reports on all ongoing efforts in support of the environment
Act as the Primary POC for all customer inquiries and support
Responsible for all activities required to operate, maintain, and identify opportunities to continually improve the environment and end user experience.
Directly accountable for managing the execution of all technical projects associated with the engineering and operations of the environment.
Works directly with customers to capture requirements for future enhancements and improvements.
Basic Qualifications:
Requires a BA degree and 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 13 years of prior relevant experience
15 years of project management experience
Customer relationship management experience
Excellent written, verbal and presentation experience with both technical and non-technical audiences at employee and executive levels
ITIL certification
DoD or IC classified network management experience
PMI certification (PMP, PMRP, etc.)
IT engineering or operations experience
Academic experience in information Technology, Software engineering, Computer engineering, or business administration
Active TS clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Active TS/SCI
Pay Range:
Pay Range $128,050.00 - $197,000.00 - $265,950.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
