The Leidos Defense Group is seeking a Systems Engineering Integration Manager to provide technical leadership and support in the areas of IT planning, target architecture development and solution delivery. The Integration Manager will support the 844th Communications Group at three locations to include: Joint Base Anacostia Bolling (JBAB), Joint Base Andrews (JBA) and the Pentagon. This includes supporting the Air Force District of Washington (AFDW) and Headquarters Air Force (HAF) customers on both NIPRNet and SIPRNet domains. The Lead Systems Integration Manager is a key member of the project leadership that is responsible for providing technical integration for cyber solutions for a wide range of technologies. The well-qualified candidate will have a strong knowledge of information technology and commercial solutions; and significant experience developing and implementing technical solutions. The preferred candidate will have excellent communications skills, a strong customer service orientation, and experience serving as an advisor to Chief Engineer and other senior IT managers.
Primary Responsibilities, the selected candidate will be responsible for:
Participating as a member of the Enterprise Architecture Team and working with the AFDW enterprise architecture team to document, design and achieve target architectures.
Help resolve issues that arise in implementing solutions.
Lead execution of the full project lifecycle, from planning, through implementation, to operational readiness.
Lead technical discussions both internally and with customer teams.
Responsible for the performance management and evaluation of direct reports including 1:1 coaching, employee development, ensuring technical proficiency and motivating team members.
Establish effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate development of test procedures for verification and validation of new solutions.
Responsible for implementing process improvements and providing suggestions for tools.
Maintain core working hours but remain flexible to support after-hours maintenance windows (as necessary).
Coordinate all systems engineering and integration activities with project management team, stakeholders, and the Contractor.
Drive execution of tests to evaluate solution performance, explore critical parameters and assess their sensitivity, identify failure modes, interpret results to iteratively improve performance and robustness.
Provide guidance for creating and maintain records for all testing activities such as generating parameter databases and performance and failure trackers.
Provide transparent and regular status updates in requested format.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline and 5+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 3+ years of prior relevant experience, additional applicable years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
2 years of experience manager, supervising or leading teams.
Currently possess an active Secret security clearance.
Currently possess DoD 8750 certification at least IAT level II, e.g. Security+ CE.
Currently possesses one or more of the following: PMP, VCP, VCP-NV, VCP-DTM, CCNA, MCP, MCSA, MCSE.
Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
Customer service oriented.
Experience integrating heterogenous subsystems together into full product solutions.
Experience with Microsoft Server experience (2008R2, 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022).
Experience with Microsoft Windows Active Directory Management.
Experience with Storage Area Networks.
Experience with Data protection.
Experience with VMWare environments.
Experience Network Monitoring tools (SolarWinds, SCOM, vROPS).
Experience with DISA STIGs, Air Force MTOs, TCNOs and other guidance.
Knowledge of DoD and/or USAF systems engineering processes and procedures.
Project Management Experience.
Experience with a ticketing system such as Remedy.
Pay Range:Pay Range $97,500.00 - $150,000.00 - $202,500.00
