The QRC Airborne ISR Systems Division of the Airborne Solutions Group of Leidos currently has an opening for a Logistics Assistant Product Support Analyst supporting the PSS-T program. Leidos is the Product Support Management and Logistics lead for an unmanned aerial intelligence platform located in various CONUS and OCONUS operational areas and depots. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Persistent Surveillance Systems – Tethered (PSS-T) program.

The Assistant Product Support Analyst is responsible for developing reports/CDRL’s and analyzing performance based logistics metrics under direct supervision of the Products Support Analyst. Key metrics and reports are used to develop program action items to improve reliability, availability, maintainability, and supply distribution plans for the PSS-T Program.

THE CHALLENGE (primary responsibilities)

The analyst will also support the creation and updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Quick Reference Cards (QRC), and Program Directives to aid in completion of tasks in a uniform fashion across multiple entities. 

Other administrative duties include compiling action item register, contact topic leaders, take notes for meeting minutes for monthly Product Support Management Integrated Product Team meetings and providing content and slides for Program Sync calls and Program Management Reviews on behalf of Product Support Analyst.

The product support analyst will learn how to formulate the following reports and translate the data into actionable execution plans. The following programs/reports are key examples:

  • Sustainment Engineering (FMECA)

  • Performance Based Logistics Metrics; Operational Availability (Ao), Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), Mean Time Between Operational Mission Failure (MTBOMF), Mission Impacted Capability Awaiting Parts (MICAP), stock availability, Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), Mean Down Time (MDT), Turn-around time (TAT).

  • Supply Health Analysis Reports

  • DMSMS (Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages) Plan and DMSMS health report.

  • Updates to Provisioning Technical Data (PTD) in PowerLOG-J.

  • Report the results of a DCN (Design Change Notification), ECP (Engineering Change Proposal), or realized shortcoming on current provisioning data.

  • Updating Technical Data Packages as a result of updated PTD during ECP, ESR, and DCN.

  • Providing analysis and recommendations for updating parts list to include Authorized Stockage Lists (ASL), Prescribed Load Lists (PLL), Authorized Additional Lists (AAL), and additional parts lists when requested based on ECP.

WHAT SETS YOU APART (basic qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 1 year of professional experience, Master’s Degree, or additional 4 years of Logistics or Product Support experience in lieu of degree.

  • Ability to present briefings and developing reports for leadership.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to organize and communicate with stakeholders in developing reports and assisting government in determining appropriate response to report data.

  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) platforms and the processes used to analyze large data sets.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).

Security Clearance Requirement

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience with Product Support Management and Performance Based Logistics Metrics monitoring and reporting.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $38,350.00 - $59,000.00 - $79,650.00
