Job Description:
The Civil Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Cargo Integrator to support NASA's Cargo Mission Contract, which provides pressurized cargo packing and unpacking for flights to and from the International Space Station. This position is responsible for ensuring hardware requirements are met prior to space flight and cargo events are executed within scope, time, and budget constraints. The ultimate goal is seamless delivery to Vehicle Integrators for launch purposes, or to Hardware Owners in the event of of return Missions.
As an integral member of the Cargo Processing Team, the Cargo Integrator performs analytical assessments and physical processing of space flight hardware before shipment to various launch sites or hardware owners. The role also entails Cargo Mission Lead (CML) duties, including: planning, organizing, securing, and managing resources. The Cargo Integrator plays a part in contributing to the overall success of a spaceflight Mission.
Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident and have the ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance.
Primary Responsibilities:
Review flight-specific schedule and milestones. Identify and overcome timeline challenges by collaborating with internal team.
Evaluate hardware data for discrepancies; work with data and hardware owners to correct.
Analyze off-nominal requirements and requests pertaining to hardware and delivery. Apply knowledge and standard procedures to implement resolution.
Lead the Hardware Audit by preparing the Hardware Accountability Matrix Report (HAMR) and coordinate logistics through to completion.
Administer database hardware to manage delivery schedule throughout duration of flight processing.
Conduct Hardware Verification Review (HVR) of manifested flight hardware items to assure program quality standards.
Identify physical issues with hardware items, make recommendations, and coordinate with stakeholders to implement on-time resolution.
Verify accuracy of barcodes, serial numbers, and data to be utilized for the On-Orbit Inventory Tracking Report.
Provide flight status as needed for weekly Integrated Product Team meeting and bi-weekly CMC Management Board.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree and 2+ years of related experience (equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and process-focused
Proactive, clear, and effective communicator
Adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with handling flight hardware
Project Management knowledge and / or experience
Basic Microsoft Project technical skills
Pay Range:
Pay Range $54,600.00 - $84,000.00 - $113,400.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
