Leidos has an opening for a highly qualified program manager to serve as Space Lead for the Multi-Domain Operations Division. This is an exciting opportunity to bring Space domain and JADC2 experience across all-domain large-scale weapon systems, Information Technology Systems, and Command and Control Systems to realize the Department of Defense Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2). As envisioned, JADC2 will allow U.S. forces from all services to sense, make sense and act upon a vast array of data and information from all domains (air, land, sea, and space). In this role you will work across the company to drive space-centric solutions through an all-domain perspective data-centric vision while ensuring data security, integrity, and network integrity. You will report directly to the Multi-Domain Operations Division manager while working with business development, program managers, engineering staff, and corporate technical leads to horizontally integrate across Leidos, Services, and weapons systems platforms for the DoD.
The most urgent need is to support the critical Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) and solutions that can be delivered at speed, scale, and with the necessary security to deliver operational advantages to the joint warfighter. Primary Responsibilities
Drive space domain focused leadership, strategy for market penetration, and lead teams to manage solutions to drive rapid capabilities to support joint warfighters.
Collaboration across organizations internal and external to bring horizontally integrated Space perspective and solutions into the JADC2 & MDO vision.
Leading teams that are responsible for delivering high priority Space solution frameworks that expose, share, and leverage all-domain data through modern and legacy system integration.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of Bachelor's degree in computer science with at least 15 years of Defense Department C2 & Space experience advanced degree is strongly preferred
US citizenship and an active Secret security clearance, with ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance
Experience with employing strategy to action to grow market share and win new business
Experience with large weapons systems and command and control platforms across the DoD portfolio
Demonstrable knowledge of systems engineering concepts and applying these concepts to Department of Defense programs
Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with customer representatives, domain experts, and other systems engineers in the development of complex DoD systems
Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex system problems and develop innovative solutions
Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of system integration activities
Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience
Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Information Technology field
Proves success transitioning relevant technology programs from design to operational use
Established/proven working relationship across the DoD GovCon communities – to include an understanding of competitors’ capabilities, key players and decision makers and likely strategies within that market.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $124,800.00 - $192,000.00 - $259,200.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
