Leidos is seeking a Field Operations IT Technician to join our team in support of work for our customer. This position will consist of a rotation schedule and will be primarily located in Ventura, CA. We are expecting award in Fall 2022.
Perform or support a variety of software maintenance and development activities, including but not limited to: maintaining a secure and functioning autonomy and control system, identifying, and resolving vulnerabilities and malfunctions, and accomplishing or facilitating software upgrades and modifications.
Participate in the execution of software maintenance activities.
Ability to lift 40lbs.
You will participate in Leidos and Government safety programs.
This position will require close cooperation and working relationships with active-duty military and other Government personnel
Position requires the ability to perform in an arduous duty environment.
Requires Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Master’s degree with 2+ years of prior relevant experience and 2+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects. Four (4) additional years of related experience will be acceptable in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
US citizen with ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
Deep understanding of and ability to apply principles, theories, and concepts of technical domain and has broad understanding of other related specialty areas.
Individual must possess the ability and demeanor to share common spaces over lengthy deployment periods and work closely with others in a small working area and in a shipboard environment.
Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Active Secret Security Clearance.
Prior US military service, preferably Navy and on a Surface Navy platform.
Pay Range:Pay Range $66,300.00 - $102,000.00 - $137,700.00
