Job Description:
Leidos is seeking a Project Manager (PM) to partner on a large enterprise IT contract. The PM is responsible for leading the full lifecycle of multiple, simultaneous projects of varying sizes and complexity in support of local and regional (CONUS and OCONUS) technology refresh requirements for Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). Responsible for planning, organizing, securing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific program goals and objectives. Duties may include ensuring that all programs run within scope, time, and budget constraints. The PM interfaces with task and functional leaders, subcontractors, and support personnel and influences development of solutions that impact strategic project and program goals and business results. This position requires the ability to communicate with leadership (internal and external) regarding matters of importance to the organization/project.
Primary Responsibilities:
Engaging directly with Stakeholders to identify initiatives and develop business cases
Establishing and adhering to budgets, schedules, and quality standards
Proactively identifying and remediating risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution
Identifying project resource requirements and escalating resource constraints
The creation and control of project plans, milestones, dependencies, critical paths, scope, budgets, and other established project processes to ensure successful
Ensuring project status reporting is accurate and timely and required project deliverables meet quality and compliance standards
Displaying strong leadership and collaboration skills in working with stakeholders and project team members to manage, inform and influence outcomes
Managing multiple project initiatives simultaneously, demonstrating strong time management and prioritization skills
Demonstrating ability to adapt to changing demands and work in a dynamic environment
Provide monthly functional area reports summarizing work accomplished, work planned in next month and important issues occurring during the month
Basic Qualifications:
Qualified Individuals will have experience in managing the IT operations and sustainment for one or more of the following areas:
Manage dispersed teams
IT Service Management
Desktop Software Support Services
OCONUS IT Service Delivery
Project Management
Experience and knowledge of IT enterprise operations in the Intelligence Community (IC)
Understanding of information technology functions and services supporting the IC and the missions of its respective agencies
Experience in collaborating with other enterprise technologists both internal and external to resolve complex technical issues
Experience in supporting and coordinating across senior-level organizations
Ability to communicate with senior management and customers
Superior written communication skills sufficient to develop customer deliverable reports.
Superior oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Education:
Bachelor's degree with 6 years of relevant experience, Master’s degree with 4 years
Education equivalency of Associate’s with 8 years of related experience or High School Diploma with 10 years of related experience can be used in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.
Security Clearance:
Due to the nature of the government contracts, we support, US Citizenship is required.
TS/SCI with Poly is required for this position or TS/SCI and willingness to obtain a Poly.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $66,300.00 - $102,000.00 - $137,700.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
