The Leidos Enterprise & Cyber Solutions Defense Group is seeking a Project Management Operations (PMO) Projects Lead for our NORAD and USNORTHCOM customer located in Colorado Springs, CO. Our customer’s mission demands expert technical and professional management support to the commands enterprise Information Technology (IT) services. You will be a leader in the program that provides sustainment, maintenance, finance, Problem and Change management services to help ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of the NORAD and USNORTHCOM IT and Mission Systems environment. You will plan and direct special and technical improvement projects in support of the mission and business networks while assisting in growing the program in both size and scope. You will lead the Program Management Operations team that includes contracting, portfolio, change, and configuration management, financial planning, logistics, quality, and project operations.
This position will report directly to the Program Manager with regular interaction with Government and Leidos Corporate POC.
Primary Responsibilities
Acts as the Program Management Operations Projects Lead with direct supervisory responsibility for a team of 3-5 technical staff.
Develop and execute growth plans for the Program
Lead the PMO team (Logistics, Finance, Portfolio, Quality, and Projects)
Ensure efficient application of document, change, configuration, release, and quality management processes in the PMO
Serve as project manager for special IT projects
Responsible for reviewing processes, and resources and making improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs
Lead the writing team for technical documents, procedures, PIPs, PMPs, ILS and SOPs, etc.
Provide recommendations on enhancing performance and correcting problems in shared services to meet dynamic customer mission requirements
Support service level metric reporting and submitting logs, statistics, or analytical data, as requested by the Government
Ensure efficient application of document, change, configuration, release, and quality management processes in the PMO
Plan, schedule, and implement technical improvements and enhancement actions to sustain the operational viability of the networks; to includes forecasts, plans, and supporting technology refreshment/insertion projects
Collaborate with other Service and Functional Leads to resolve customer related issues with company provided services
Work with program team to ensure staffing levels are met to achieve program execution with direct responsibility for interviewing and making hiring decisions.
These are the required qualifications...
Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or master’s with 6+ years or prior relevant experience; equivalent work experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
4+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects
Currently possess an active Secret security clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance
Hold or achieve within 90 days of hire, a PMP certification
Broad-based systems background and experience managing technical support services for an overseas contract in a Service Level Agreement (SLA) environment
Understanding of applications and network systems like those in use at NORAD/NORTHCOM
Experience in a quality assurance environment that includes, customer satisfaction tracking and continuous service improvement
Demonstrated ability implementing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs)
Previous use of MS Project and other MS office suites

Experience with enterprise service platforms; platforms: Directory Services; PKI, Client M365, and Server Operating Systems
Experience with IT change and configuration management
Experience with storage solutions: Cloud, SAN, SQL, Backup, Virtualization
Experience with network security/monitoring: SCOM, SCCM, SPECTRUM, Imaging, updates, Deployment, Circuit Status, SolarWinds
Experience with portal: SharePoint, IE
Experience with situational awareness tools/products: COP, GCCS-J
Experience with networking: Routing/Switching/Firewalls/VOIP
Experience with system administration: Application and Systems
Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., trouble ticketing systems)
ITIL Practitioner or Expert Certification
Excellent project, technical, interpersonal, presentation and problem management skills
Ability to communicate orally, and in writing, detailed technical information on troubleshooting and implementation efforts
8-10 years overall leadership and/or management experience desired.
Familiarity with DOD regulations and directives

Pay Range:
Pay Range $97,500.00 - $150,000.00 - $202,500.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
