Leidos is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to provide senior leadership on a large, high-profile DOD contract at Ft. Meade, MD.

PROGRAM SUMMARY:
Defense Enclave Services (DES) will serve as the Department of Defense’s main vehicle to unify IT networks to support agencies and field activities that take place outside military services. Leidos needs the best talent in the industry to accommodate the size, scope, and complexity of this effort. 

CLEARANCE REQUIRED:
Must have an active DoD Secret clearance.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Provide senior management to solve large-scale, complex, logistics and resource management challenges
•evaluate environment to identify new opportunities to create value for the customer and Leidos
•Provide program direction and guidance for all contractor personnel assigned to DES related task(s) including assigning tasks to contractor personnel, supervising on-going technical efforts, and managing the project performance.
•Senior-level point of contact for the program, and ensures personnel associated with the program are effectively supporting customer needs. 
•Meet all technical, financial, and contractual and performance requirements to bring about the successful completion of specific program goals and objectives.
•Interact regularly with the government customer to understand where Leidos can bring innovations and efficiencies to support the government mission and maintain and sustain critical infrastructure.
•Support a complex IT effort and the knowledge/experience with core technical areas of the program.
•Provide the leadership and have the interpersonal communication skills necessary to inspire, lead, direct and manage a complex subcontract. 
•Utilize expert communication skills needed to direct the skilled technical resources and report on the technical progress, issues, and problem areas, as well as write and review technical documents.
•Handle the quality and efficiency of the project performance, to include both technical issues and businesses processes.
•Report all significant technical challenges, problems, issues, as soon as they are discovered to Leidos and customer management, as appropriate.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
•Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience; additional relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
•7+ years Project Management experience on large scare operations and maintenance contracts with a total contract value of at least $50M.
•Demonstrated experience managing a complex project, task order, or program of similar size (managing 75+ personnel, including Program Management, Sustainment, Strategy, Design, and Migration for IT infrastructure initiatives.
•Demonstrated ability to effectively direct a program in a high tempo, high demand environment.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•Ability to guide and manage diverse workforce. Strong track record of organizational leadership and business management, including strong analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

·MUST have experience in a variety of infrastructure projects-Data center, network, storage, server, etc.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
•Consulting firm experience.
•Current PMI/PMP.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $118,300.00 - $182,000.00 - $245,700.00
