Leidos currently has an opening for an Electrical Engineer to work in our Beavercreek, OH office. This is an exciting opportunity to work in integration and fielding of technologies in support of AFRL and AFLCMC projects. Primarily utilizing the AgilePod® family of pods, the selected candidate will generate integration solutions for new and fielded solutions to support ground, air, and laboratory testing environments. The selected candidate will provide support and participate in flight test activities and demonstrations at various test locations.

THE CHALLENGE (primary responsibilities)
This position will design, develop, and implement electrical hardware aspects of current and future projects in support of the systems engineering team. The selected candidate creates electrical solutions that take into account hardware and software needs. Candidate will gain experience in the buildup, integration and fielding of podded airborne systems. The candidate will work alongside other engineering disciplines to develop solutions in support of AFRL and AFLCMC needs.
WHAT SETS YOU APART (basic qualifications)
- Requires BS in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology with 3+ years of relevant work experience.
- Prior experience in cable design and fabrication, sizing electrical components, electrical load analysis (SWaP), hardware mounting and cable management.
- Prior experience in generating electrical solution documents (diagrams and ICDs) and participation in design reviews (PDR, CDR).
- Troubleshooting and fault isolation (e.g. ohmmeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, RF analyzers).
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret (or higher) Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications, not required.
- Experience in electrical subsystems for airborne platforms (manned and unmanned), ground stations, podded ISR
- Experience in design and evaluation of radio voice and data systems, tactical line of sight and SATCOM
- Experience in DoD information security devices (e.g data diodes, cryptographic equipment, and cross-domain solutions)
- Experience in product lifecycle process to include identifying/mitigating risks, bench and SIL testing, and product deployment and maintenance.
- Experience with engineering tools such as Visio, SOLIDWORKS Electrical, PTC Windchill.
- Previous flight test experience
Pay Range:
Pay Range $63,050.00 - $97,000.00 - $130,950.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
