Leidos' Civil Group currently has an opening for a Marketing and Events Manager to join our Security Enterprise Solutions (SES) Operation. The SES Operation is the cornerstone of Leidos’ comprehensive suite of fully integrated security detection solutions and capabilities for aviation, ports and borders, and critical infrastructure customers around the world. Our portfolio has more than 24,000 products deployed across 120 countries.
The SES Marketing and Events manager will report to the SES Marketing Director and will help lead and support a variety of initiatives across the operation. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate seeking exposure to multiple aspects of marketing. The ideal candidate for this role will be based in the U.K. working remotely with occasional visits to our U.K. offices, as needed.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The SES Marketing and Events Manager will:
Create and execute both internal and external email marketing campaigns
Help develop and maintain segmented email marketing lists in Salesforce
Maintain social media calendar based on events and other campaigns, in collaboration with the corporate communications team
Manage industry memberships to ensure the value of those relationships are fully realized
Help manage the operation’s intranet webpages
Assist with content development (website, collateral, presentations, blogs, articles) as needed
Maintain events calendar and serve are primary logistics point-of-contact pre, onsite and post events
Partner with Marketing, Business Development, Product Management, and other areas of the business to develop event and sponsorships project plans that best showcase SES capabilities
Oversee event/sponsorship contracts and invoices in collaboration with procurement
Manage external vendors in support of events and sponsorships
Manage event expenses against the associated budget
Help plan and execute SES hosted business development and marketing events
Create post-event reports to help the business development team and stakeholders measure ROI
Work onsite at events as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Degree qualification in marketing, business, hospitality, or related
Several years prior relevant experience
Ability to work independently to achieve day-to-day objectives
Demonstrated success managing projects, both large and small, from inception to execution
High comfort level with interdepartmental communications including briefing executive leadership
Intermediate experience with MS Office products
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS
Significant prior relevant experience in a Marketing and Events Management
Familiarity with security detection technologies
