The Airborne Solutions Operation within Leidos has a dynamic job opportunity for a Configuration Management Analyst located in Bridgewater, VA.
What’s in it for you?
In this role you will perform change management, release management and configuration management in support of multiple programs. As a part of a multi-organization team, you will review, analyze, and release engineering change data, drawings, diagrams, and documentation. You will participate in Engineering Review Boards (ERBs), Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), document processes, perform audits and coordinate changes with Program Management, Engineering, Design, Manufacturing and Quality. The position is not open to telework, and you will be onsite in Bridgewater, VA.

THE CHALLENGE (primary responsibilities)
- Support change management by routing problem reports, change requests and change notifications
Review and release various configuration items, including documents and drawings
Verifies conformance to specifications, drawings, interface control documents, as defined with the program’s configuration management
Ability to assist in the use of configuration management tools to store, track and manage configuration items
Support PCAs/FCAs
Audit aircraft modifications/installations against baseline configuration reports and drawings
Audit mission systems hardware and software against baseline RMF/DIACAP artifacts
Support engineering review boards and configuration control boards
Collect and analyze CM metrics to identify areas for process improvement
Assist in documenting and implementing hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures.
Ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and applicable government standards, including:
Correct markings
Security labels
Distribution statements
WHAT SETS YOU APART (basic qualifications)
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
•Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience; additional years of experience required in lieu of a degree.
•Excellent communications skills, written and oral, to interface with customers and peers
•Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
•Strong Working Knowledge of SharePoint or other Document Management and Collaboration Tools
••Excellent organizational skills
Travel Requirement
•10% CONUS Travel Required
Security Clearance Requirement
•The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledgeable on aircraft systems
•Familiarity with AS9100 requirements
•Working knowledge of standard DoD Configuration Management Standards: MIL-HDBK-61 and/or EIA-649
•Release Management of Technical Data (drawings/documents)
•Change Management
•Knowledgeable on SharePoint Workflows, Forms, Capabilities, and Customization
Pay Range:
Pay Range $54,600.00 - $84,000.00 - $113,400.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
