Primary Responsibilities
- Manages and optimizes the flow of value through the ART and Solution Train using various tools, such as the Program and Solution Kanbans and other information radiators.
- Facilitates PI Planning readiness by fostering the preparation of Vision and Backlogs, and through Pre- and Post-PI Planning meetings.
- Facilitates the PI planning event.
- Assists tracking the execution of features and capabilities.
- Assists with economic decision-making by facilitating feature and capability estimation by teams and the roll-up to Epics, where necessary.
- Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets.
- Helps manage risks and dependencies.
- Escalates and track impediments.
- Improves the flow of value through value streams using the Continuous Delivery Pipeline and DevOps.
- Facilitates System Demos and Solution Demos.
- Drives relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops; assesses the agility level of the ART and Solution Train and helps them improve.
- Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.
- Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives.
- Has domain and expert technical knowledge.
- Directs and controls activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met.
- Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management.
- Decision-making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation.
- May supervise others.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, other related discipline, or equivalent experience; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience
- 4+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently to develop creative solutions
- Ability to work well within a small team environment
- Strong communication skills
- US Citizenship

- Source control tools: GIT
- DOD Secret Clearance is required.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $118,300.00 - $182,000.00 - $245,700.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
