The Intelligence Group at Leidos is seeking a Cyber instructor/expert to support a classified government customer. This opportunity provides the customer support for both their strategic and tactical learning strategies. This position will assist in building cutting edge learning solutions to solve complex problems with the right technologies to support critical customer mission goals. The Cyber Instructor/SME will provide guidance in the development of training products, guidance on the needs of the audience, instruction, and serve as a coach and mentor. Training products will span the gamut from paper-based job-aids to full immersive worlds. Content will be delivered both synchronously and asynchronously. The Cyber Instructor/SME will collaborate with customer stakeholders, program management office, and IT and learning and development team members. The Cyber SME will work with team members to align learning initiatives with the customer’s strategic and operational objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
Working with government stakeholders to identify cyber skills needed for today’s workforce
Collaborating with government stakeholders and learning and development team members to develop and implement the learning and development strategy
Collaborate in the conduct of a needs assessments, identify gaps and needs, define the audience, and prioritize projects based on Government’s learning strategy.
Maintain currency on cyber trends and identify innovative ways to incorporate them into learning products
Act as a subject matter expert in the design of new training products
Provide instruction, coaching, and mentoring
Collaborate on the collection, analysis, and synthesis of performance and evaluative data and communicate findings and recommendations to government stakeholders
Manage and maintain strong customer relationships
Required Skills, Education, and Experience
Must possess a current Top Secret Clearance; TS/SCI with polygraph preferred and is required once applied for and granted. Requires US Citizenship.
Bachelor's Degree in cyber security, data science, computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or related field. Master’s Degree preferred
Ten (10) to (13) years of related experience
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multiple projects environment
Demonstrated strategic and critical thinking skills to identify relationships between issues, data, and outcomes
Experience in one or more of the following: big data technologies, development tools, database platforms, application architecture, and/or systems engineering
Experience managing multiple, concurrent projects
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Have the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, as well as to effectively collaborate, influence, and guide stakeholders to attain buy-in and build consensus
Proficient Microsoft Office skills
Experience as cyber coach or instructor
Pay Range:
