Leidos is seeking a Sr. Graphics Designer at Ft. Meade, MD.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The selected candidate will be responsible for creating visual concepts and designs for a variety of purposes, including presentations, infrastructure diagrams, and business reports. This includes developing and executing creative ideas that effectively communicate desired messages, as well as collaborating with clients and team members to determine design goals and objectives. The Graphics Designer will also be responsible for staying up-to-date with industry standards and trends, and for using a range of design software to create high-quality graphics.

This role will support the effort to discover, analyze and design IT migration plans for over twenty large-scale DoD agencies. Leidos needs the best talent in the industry to accommodate the size, scope, and complexity of this effort. A successful candidate will be well-rounded, producing quality work with special attention to the right details.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: 
•Must hold an active Secret security clearance. (US Citizenship required)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Create visual concepts and designs for a variety of purposes, including presentations, infrastructure diagrams, and business reports.
•Develop and execute creative ideas that effectively communicate desired messages.
•Collaborate with clients and team members to determine design goals and objectives.
•Stay up-to-date with industry standards and trends, and use a range of design software to create high-quality graphics.
•Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, including budgeting and scheduling.
•Ensure that designs are consistent with branding and style guidelines.
•Prepare and present design concepts to clients and team members.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience; additional years of directly applicable experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
•Strong visual and creative skills, with an ability to translate ideas into effective designs.
•Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
•Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
•Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite.
•MUST have strong writing skills and expect to perform extensive writing.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•Consulting firm experience.
•Knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies.
•ITIL certification.
