Leidos is seeking an Sr. Project Scheduler at Ft. Meade, MD.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules for large, complex projects to join our Defense Enclave Services (DES) team. This includes defining project tasks, determining project dependencies, estimating durations, and allocating resources. The Project Scheduler will also be responsible for tracking progress, identifying and resolving schedule issues, and providing regular updates to project stakeholders.
This role will support the effort to discover, analyze and design IT migration plans for over twenty large-scale DoD agencies. Leidos needs the best talent in the industry to accommodate the size, scope, and complexity of this effort. A successful candidate will be well-rounded, producing quality work with special attention to the right details.
PROGRAM SUMMARY:
The DES program supports a highly demanding mission and requires support from top technical and management talent to migrate common IT services for over twenty DoD agencies under a common platform. You will play a key role in performing the discovery, design, and migration tasks in support of building a world-class Single Service Provider for the Department of Defense.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
•Must hold an active Secret security clearance. (US Citizenship required)
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Develop and maintain project schedules for large, complex projects
•Define project tasks, determine project dependencies, estimate durations, and allocate resources
•Use scheduling software to create and update project schedules
•Track progress and identify and resolve schedule issues
•Provide regular updates to project stakeholders, including project team members, management, and clients
•Collaborate with project team members to ensure that project schedules are realistic and achievable
•Use data analysis and reporting to identify trends and potential issues
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
•MUST have strong writing skills and expect to perform extensive writing.
•Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience; additional years of directly applicable experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
•Strong problem-solving and communication skills
•Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
•Proficiency with scheduling software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•Consulting firm experience is highly desirable
•Knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies
•ITIL certification

Pay Range:
Pay Range $75,400.00 - $116,000.00 - $156,600.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
