Job Description:
Leidos is seeking a qualified and experienced individual to support stakeholders within key TSA programs. The Director of Stakeholder Management (DSM) will support key customer and stakeholder strategic relationships through the US and US Territories in support of the Transportation Security Administration. The DSM will support Program Managers in coordination, management, and execution of all program activities associated with assigned contract(s) and related growth projects during the full lifecycle of programs/projects focusing on customer and stakeholder communications, delivery of products and/or services in accordance with program requirements.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of executing on similar programs in the security sector, a good financial background, an understanding of logistics support programs, and an understanding of security screening equipment.
The DSM will:
•Serve as a liaison to the stakeholders at the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), security equipment manufacturers, and airports.
•Identify, communicate, and help resolve challenges in the field with support from program management.
•Assist the Program Managers in managing cost, schedule, and technical performance of major programs/service in accordance with company and industry best practices for program management across the program lifecycle.
•Develop and maintain strong internal partnerships across the operation and functional teams.
•Align goals and objectives related to program support for the functional and program team.
•Develop cooperative and collaborative relationships with all industry and airport stakeholders.
•Analyze performance metrics and proposal of process improvements that will eliminate systemic or individual weaknesses, vulnerabilities, or inefficiencies.
•Manage continuous improvement to become best in class and create value to our TSA customer.
The successful candidate will:
•Possess significant performance-based logistics experience, preferably in the security equipment industry.
•Possess intimate knowledge and demonstrated past performance of TSA / key stakeholder’s culture and operational requirements.
•Possess a clear understanding of risk management and quality assurance and quality control concepts as applied to logistics/screening equipment.
Minimum requirements:
•Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
•Requires a Bachelors degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters degree with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience.
•Experience supporting contracts greater than $50M.
•Must have 5 or more years of TSA experience within the security screening environment.
•Possess or be able to attain a favorable Suitability Determination from TSA.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $105,300.00 - $162,000.00 - $218,700.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
