The Advanced Solutions Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a OCONUS Systems Engineering Manager to work in our Bridgewater, Virginia office. This role will be responsible for managing OCONUS systems engineering personnel and daily platform performance, maintenance activities and FSR administrative requirements.
THE CHALLENGE (primary responsibilities)
-Manage FSR rotational schedules, training, travel requirements, expense reporting, and time charging compliance.
-Coordinate program process adherence for all platform sites and ensure compliance.
-Develop quick reaction plans, Standard Operation Procedures, and FSR training needs.
-Work closely with operations personnel to ensure platform mission completion and assist Project Lead with technical evaluations and engineering design improvements as required by contract.
- Maintain Sensor suite sparing levels as appropriate to each platform or site to ensure mission readiness.
- Oversee any required equipment RMA technical communications as required to ensure efficient repair times are achieved.
WHAT SETS YOU APART (basic qualifications)
-High school diploma/GED with 5+ years of personnel and technical management experience.
- Prior ISR design, troubleshooting and platform OPS support experience.
- Understanding of Tactical Communications, BLOS systems, SIGINT, and Tactical Data Links.
- Active Security+ Certification
- Experience with Communications Security protocols, and Information Assurance requirements as they pertain to contractual requirements.
Security Clearance Requirement
- Must have active DoD Secret clearance at a minimum with ability to upgrade to Top Secret as required.
Preferred Qualifications
-BS with 5+ years of relevant ISR system design, integration, and fabrication experience.
-Active Top Secret clearance.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $78,000.00 - $120,000.00 - $162,000.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
