The Leidos Defense Group is seeking an IT Systems Administrator with software installation experience. The Systems Administrator will support our customers’ requirements and will manage all Apple activities to include Webcasting for the entire DTRA agency. Candidate should be experienced with Windows server technology and including Active Directory roles and group policy. Must be proficient with MacOS 10.11 - 12.5; must know how to STIG MacOS. Should have a basic understanding of MS Windows, DOD365 enough to work with other System Administrators and Engineers when encountering issues. Candidate should be familiar with Adobe Cloud, MS Office, and DOD365 and how they work in the Military environment. Must be able to format large printers from Canon and Xerox. Able to troubleshoot printers for MACs. Must have knowledge and the skillset to use iMovie, to include assisting with WEBCAST and TEAMS LIVE events.
Primary Responsibilities:
Install and configure of Microsoft Windows operating system and software.
Baseline management, ensuring accountability for products and versions.
Utilize and update documentation and maintain standard operating procedures.
Test and apply OS, security patches and system upgrades as needed.
Follow Security Hardening practices, meeting DoD STIG specifications.
Maintain server and application inventory and manage corresponding licenses.
Work with MAC OS.
Basic Qualifications:
DoD Secret Clearance required, Top Secret preferred.
BS degree and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or a Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant working experience, additional years of applicable experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Current, unexpired, CompTIA Security+CE (or equivalent) certification.
Microsoft Windows desktop and server experience.
MacOS Administration version 10.11 and 12.5.
Experience with Printers, WEBCAST and 365.
Experience with live event and or video production.
Preferred Qualifications:
Windows Operating Systems 2016 and 2019.
Active Directory management.
Microsoft Group Policy (GPO) updates, creation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
Maintaining security posture including patching, scanning, updating.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $78,000.00 - $120,000.00 - $162,000.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
