Job Description:
The Defense Enclave Services (DES) contract will unify the DOD Fourth Estate Defense Agencies and Field Activities’ (DAFA) common use information technology systems, personnel, functions, and program elements under the direction of DISA’s Fourth Estate Network Optimization program office.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
•Must hold an active Secret security clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance. (US Citizenship required)
•Provide support to the Defense Enclave Services Operation (DES-Ops) leadership team by managing operational events including, but not limited to, Technology Refresh, New Technology insertion, Life-Cycle Replacement, Contract Deliverable (CDRL) Management, Staffing, Basis of Estimates oversight, and program review support.
•Manage projects executed by the DES Operation Team.
•Work with the program and government stakeholders to improve project management processes and procedures.
•Work with functional support teams, including, operations team subject matter experts, project controls, contracts, subcontracts, and security, to ensure projects are executed, efficiently; and meet cost, performance, and schedule objectives.
•Work with technical teams to report project status and assist with other support tasks, as required.
•Set project goals and coming up with plans to meet those goals; maintain project timeframes, conduct risk assessments, budget estimates and status reports.
•Coordinate project team members and develop schedules and individual assignments.
•Implement IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
•Use project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence.
•Manage the DES Operations Team CDRL process and the delivery of required documentation.
•Manage the DES Operations Team Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) process and the delivery of required documentation.
•Assist with the maintenance of the program’s Integrated Data Environment (SharePoint).
•Assist with the development of content for program reviews and contract milestones.
•Support the technical publications team with writing, peer reviews, quality reviews, and file management support.
•Attend technical meetings, change request and ASI scheduling meetings, and prepare formal written minutes (as required) for delivery to the government.
•BA degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience; additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
•Experience in performing project audits; monitor/tracking of corrective actions; managing process improvement; performing process checks on internal procedures; and reviewing contract deliverables.
•Able to multi-task, self-assign work, and function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
•Good verbal and written skills
•Proficiency with MS Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, SharePoint, and PowerPoint).
•Ability to work with technical leads and subject matter experts to comprehend and define resource needs to ensure operational readiness
•Experience working with Program Management Office leaders for very large DoD contracts.
•Proficiency with software development tools.
•PMP Certification.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $105,300.00 - $162,000.00 - $218,700.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
