Job Description:
Leidos is seeking a Systems Engineering Intern located in California, MD.
The successful applicant will have a basic understanding of Systems Engineering and a working knowledge of the following:
Requirements Elicitation
Requirement Tracing
System Diagrams and Models
The candidate will work with Systems Engineering staff to help complete contract delivery items and will learn about the systems engineering process, agile approaches to system and software engineering and how those processes are applied to real world organizations.
Primary Responsibilities
Work with more senior staff to address requirements, help with requirements tools education and setup.
Work with staff to make any associated updates to process documentation.
Basic Qualifications
Currently enrolled and working towards a degree in Engineering, SW Engineering, or related field at an accredited college/university.
Must have completed Junior year and have a 3.0 or better GPA.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
US citizenship required.
Strong working knowledge of the office suite of tools.
Experience with defining and eliciting requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Systems Engineering Majors are preferred.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $44,200.00 - $68,000.00 - $91,800.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
