Leidos is seeking a senior manager to drive energy efficiency project development across diverse commercial facilities in Hawaii, Honolulu and Maui counties. Join our Hawai‘i Energy program team’s efforts in empowering our community to achieve the state’s clean energy goals.
Primary Responsibilities
- Identify, quantify, and drive adoption of energy efficiency projects across the Hawai‘i Energy portfolio.
- Manage Senior Energy Advisors to set savings targets and strategic vision for project lead generation.
- Oversee Hawai‘i Energy staff development and training in the areas of energy management, maintenance best practices, HVAC efficiency and resilience for COVID-19, and industrial controls systems.
- Design and implement customized retro commissioning, re-commissioning and audit programs for specific sectors.
- Design new Hawai‘i Energy program initiatives for energy optimization including programs for commercial energy storage and grid connected control systems.
- Lead Strategic Energy Management (SEM) efforts with customers to provide comprehensive solutions aligning business practices with energy efficiency.
- Provide customer recommendations on system commissioning and product commissioning, energy projects, and new product innovations.
- Provide subject matter expertise for technical requests from the Hawaii Public Utilities Commission (PUC) and other industry stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Ten years of professional experience in engineering, technical project management or related areas. Experience in the fields of energy efficiency, construction management, and/or building maintenance experience
- Project financing and cost analysis
- Energy auditing and field metering experience
- Strong technical, quantitative and analytic capabilities including technical report writing and advanced spreadsheet analysis
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within cross functional teams
- Physical ability to perform energy audits and field verification of pre and post installation of energy efficiency measures
- Valid Driver’s license required
Pay Range:
Pay Range $105,300.00 - $162,000.00 - $218,700.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
