The Leidos Defense Group has a career opportunity for a Storage Administrator to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. An active Top Secret clearance is required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. Most work (75%) is on-site.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform backup and recovery with Veritas Netbackup in a VMware environment.
Familiar with Netbackup PureDisk technology (data deduplication), using multiple Media.
Server Deduplication Pools (MSDP).
Manage and monitor offsite data replication through Netbackup AIR and storage lifecycle policies (SLPs).
Manage backup and restore of SQL server clusters and AG clusters through Netbackup SQL agents, and .bch scripts.
Manage backup and restore of Oracle clusters.
Administer dedicated Hitachi G200 disk storage (create/expand vVols & be familiar with Host Groups).
Be familiar with how to handle data spillages.
Basic Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelors degree and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2+ years of prior relevant experience additional years of applicable experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Experience with Veritas Netbackup.
Active US DoD Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI.
8570 IAT II level certification; i.e., active Security + CE.
Preferred Qualifications:
Immediate availability.
Experience with Brocade SAN, Dell Unity platforms, Dell ECS platforms, and CTERA edge filers are a plus.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $66,300.00 - $102,000.00 - $137,700.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
