Leidos has a career opportunity for an experienced Cyber Security professional for the US Army Intelligence Community. The successful IA professional will be supporting Army Intelligence programs in the area of IA Engineering and RMF Accreditation. This IA professional individual should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, highly self-motivated, and be able to work individually or with team members on various IA tasks across multiple integrated systems. The position supports the Army ACICA IA lead at INSCOM. Additionally, the position allows for telecommute but will require occasional onsite customer visit in Springfield, VA/Alexandria, VA area.
Primary Responsibilities
Define security best practices, measures, and mechanisms at levels of the cloud and or virtual environment
Collaborate with teams to find solutions that minimizes security exposure to the ecosystem
Expert in providing security insights throughout design, development, and launch
Thoroughly document security practices
Evaluate the monthly STIG results and the weekly vulnerability reports. Work with the SA team to establish patching timelines
Create POAMs for any open vulnerabilities / documentation that cannot be resolved within required timelines
Support yearly tabletops and / or Red Pen tests
Point of contact for security audits
Periodically lead security audits of existing software, services, and design, implement corrective actions
Create and maintain all RMF related artifacts
Support the current ATO package and create a new ATO package in support of a migration to AC2SP
Basic Qualifications
DoD 85701.01-M IAT Level III certification
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college in Cybersecurity or Computer Science.
7-8 years’ experience in Cybersecurity.
Experience in open-source project security vulnerabilities.
Experience in penetration testing and security audits and related documentation.
Active TS/SCI clearance
Ability to be at customer site for occasional meetings in Springfield, VA/Alexandria, VA area.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree from an accredited university or college in Cybersecurity or Computer Science.
Experience with Cloud Cyber Security processes and procedures
Experience with AC2SP Cyber Security processes and procedures
Pay Range:
Pay Range $97,500.00 - $150,000.00 - $202,500.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
