Job Description:
Leidos is seeking a Senior Word Processor to work in support of the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice in Washington, DC. This is a very high visibility role providing administrative support services to lead attorney teams for high profile cases. This is a hybrid position.
Typical responsibilities will include:
Type, edit, correct documents, charts, tables, etc.
Generate travel vouchers and correspondence
Routine file maintenance, including maintaining backup copies of original files as well as working files
Perform simple maintenance on office machines such as copiers and fax machines
Organize and maintain correspondence files
Required Qualifications:
At least two years of word processing experience, including one year in the specific office automation environment required (e.g. JCON 2a,MS Word Office 12 / Microsoft Office 2013).
Must be able to type a minimum rate of 65 wpm with an accuracy rate of 95%.
High School diploma or GED required.
Excellent oral and written communication
Must be a US Citizen & able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior government experience helpful.
Experience generating / submitting travel vouchers
Current or active clearance
This position is covered under the Service Contract Act and is subject to minimum wage requirements as well as the minimum Health and Welfare benefit. Leidos will ensure that all provisions are met through their wages and benefits. The pay for this position will be $20.92/hr.
