Job Description:
The Leidos Intelligence Division is seeking a Junior Project Manager who will work to support critical SOC cloud migration projects such as launching applications into the AWS Cloud, SOAR, and SIEM cloud implementation, etc. The Junior Project Manager will need to work with the customer to prioritize operational issues, engineering activities, and development efforts, and drive the schedule to completion. The Junior Project Manager will help to better establish and foster the customer relationship.
Primary Responsibilities will include:
• Work closely with the PMO team to manager visible CBP SOC projects and initiatives to closure
• Coordinate and facilitate key customer briefings and generally assisting the SOC leadership (Government and contractor in execution and strategy)
• Communicate and provide updates to Processes, SOPs, and Best Practices to the PMO team and customer
•Ensure high quality of all contractual deliverables
•Facilitate quality comments back to the analysts and leads for the source data to ensure the best data for future analysis
Basic Qualifications:
-Requires a BA/BS or equivalent experience and 2-4 years. Experience working to support a PMO team and support operational issues, activities, development efforts and program schedules.
-Strong customer interfacing experience
-Experience with ITIL practices
• 2+ years of technical experience working with a PMO team.
•Experience with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
•Strong communication skills
Clearance: A Secret Clearance is required with the ability to obtain a Top Secret SCI. In addition to specific security clearance requirements all CBP SOC employees are required to successfully complete a CBP Background Investigation to support this program.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain a PMP cert
-Experience in cyber security
-Previous experience with DHS or CBP customer
-Experience in Security Operations Center (SOC) or Networking Operations
-Experiencing developing Agile processes
-Experience Leading a team
-Experience Architecting a Task Management solution like Remedy or JIRA
-Experience working with the following technologies
oSOAR
oAWS Cloud
oMS Project/Visio
Pay Range:
Pay Range $54,600.00 - $84,000.00 - $113,400.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
