Leidos Health Group has an opportunity for a Software Test Engineer supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) Integration Support and Software Support Services task order. The CMOP is a network of seven (7) highly-automated production facilities which employ a mixture of robotic devices, conveyor systems, and human factors to accurately fill and ship nearly 120,000,000 prescriptions per year for healthcare beneficiaries including our nation’s Veterans and patients eligible for care through Indian Health Service (IHS). This position is located at or near VA’s Southeast CMOP, Charleston, SC.
JOB DESCRIPTION/SCOPE:
The candidate will participate in a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to the sustainment and modernization of the CMOP facilities consistent with the project’s objectives listed below:
Maintenance: Maintenance to all software at the individual CMOP facilities used to interface with local production equipment and processes. This maintenance function involves phone and remote system support with the seven CMOPs as well as on-site annual visits.
Enhancement and Integration Support: Provide software services that improve performance, controls and documentation including equipment interfaces as new equipment is introduced at the CMOPs.
Standardization: Develop and execute a long-term plan to provide standardization and stability to the Production Systems for all seven CMOPs. The goals being as follows:
Create multiple levels of documentation to support both operational and IT usage of each of the Production Systems
Allow for standardized reporting based on an identical data structure
Create a single version of the software that can support the varying hardware setups at each site
Control all source code in a single repository for ease of deployment, modification and maintenance
The Candidate will be required to write test plans and test execution summaries, provide automated testing tools and generate test scripts to validate and support requirements, design and development to for verification and validation of data inputs, return values, communications, window services, web applications, patient medical information (PMI) transfer and printing, and other specific requirements / needs for applications and services in the CMOP domain.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform regression testing, covering full suite of Operational Test Scenarios for builds and/or images to be delivered to customer.
Develop detailed test plans, test data and define test acceptance criteria.
Build Test Suites and cases in Microsoft Test Manager
Prepare test report summarizing test results including anomalies, systems errors, and configuration changes.
Support the software configuration management process and understand software components and their interface requirements.
Implement Test Driven Development (TDD) practices within the program’s agile framework to ensure the proper degree of engineering rigor is applied to all assigned tasks.
Interface with software developers, analysts, and other project team members using the Agile Scrum methodology.
Verify specific action or function of code and demonstrate successfully to VA CMOP Product Owner.
Assist the software development team in the implementation of automated regression testing.
Be involved in analyses and the investigation of related applications engineering tasks and prepares design specifications, analysis, and recommendations.
Interact with senior management, developers, analysts, and other test engineers.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline. 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for the degree.
5 or more years of relevant experience in software testing and quality assurance. 13 years of experience required without the Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline

2+ years .NET development
Knowledge of HL7
Ideally 2+ years of experience in the field of industrial process automation similar to CMOP.
Experience with automated unit testing and integration testing
Experience with Agile Methodologies
Experience with Visual studio 2015/2017, Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2015
Ability to work in fast paced environment and deliver results key milestones targets

Pay Range:
Pay Range $66,300.00 - $102,000.00 - $137,700.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
