Leidos is seeking a Principal Systems Solutions Engineer for a position as part of a team supporting the Defense Information Security Agency (DISA) EUCOM in Stuttgart, Germany.
The Principal Systems Solutions Engineer will provide overall engineering, and administration in supporting current and future European Missions. The Engineer should be very proficient with Data Brokering, Network Engineering, Sensors, and Splunk.
The Principal Systems Solutions Engineer will be a member of the UCSA Splunk, CSSP, and Transport team and will be required to interact with end users to gather requirements, perform troubleshooting, and design and architect solutions. The Principal Systems Solutions Engineer may be required interact with senior management, as necessary.
Primary Responsibilities
This position supports UCSA DISAEUCOM On-Site DISA Europe (O&M)
Provide all on-demand Subject Matter Expert support for requirements development, deployment of network hardware, deployment of CyberSA Taps, inputs to deploy Cross Domain Support Servers, Inputs to establishing data feeds and Splunk ingestion.
Work directly with the analysts and stakeholders at each operational location to investigate questions raised by operations personnel to help improve operational effectiveness of the tools inside of the UCSA environment.
Create and maintain a repository of all developed analytics in a centralized location approved by the government to allow for collaboration between the operational stakeholders and reduced duplication of efforts.
Support decomposition of requirements and use cases from the operational users/stakeholders and provide support to standardize content and tool development across the user community.
Advise the UCSA Business Relationship Manager on operational practices, processes, and policies, how that can/may influence program actions, and advises the UCSA PM on how project plans and actions will/may affect operations. Assist in conveying information to/from the end users in developing/deploying any corrective actions.
Supervise up to 5 personnel
Basic Qualifications
US Citizen
MA/MS in a technical discipline with at least 15 years of experience
Qualified IA personnel IAW DoDD 8570 and DoDD 8140 (IAT II certification)
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
CISCO CCNA or higher
Splunk Power User or higher
Experience with Kafka
Familiarity with CSSP Sensors
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with DISA Network Enclaves
Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect
Splunk Core Certified Consultant
CCNP certified
Pay Range:
Pay Range $118,300.00 - $182,000.00 - $245,700.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
