Do you want to build an abstraction layer to securely manage and govern workloads across the major public cloud providers for the nation’s most critical workloads?
Leidos, the largest Federal Systems Integrator, has immediate openings for leaders who can help us design, implement and operationalize a next gen ‘super cloud’ abstraction layer over the major public cloud providers.
In this role, you will help our customers solve their most demanding challenges by adopting and exploiting current and emerging cloud technologies by delivering their mission in a more cost effective, resilient, secure, compliant, and adaptive manner.
The candidate provides leadership across the lifecycle of cloud adoption and cloud operations, with a specific focus on developing ‘super cloud’ capabilities best aligned to meeting public sector needs. The successful candidate will with Leidos technologists to define, design and build a reference architecture, identify a blend of Open Source, COTS and solutions that Leidos will create that simplify meeting the needs of CIOs, Mission Owners, CFOs, CISOs, Authorizing Authorities, Development teams and ML teams in consuming cloud resources.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Lead the development and curation of a ‘super cloud’ stack, aligning to multi-cloud management and governance best practices to address cross-cloud considerations such as:
oIT and Cyber governance
oDevOps/SRE driven Service Management practices and automation
oZero Trust architectures
oCross cloud event ingestion, correlation, observability, and AI Ops
oFISMA compliance
oDefensive Cyber Ops
oFinOps
oCross cloud app, Kubernetes, database and data lake platforms
oMigration strategy development
•Participate as a thought leader/evangelist in internal and external events, articulating Leidos ‘super cloud’/multi-cloud strategy and value proposition
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
•Master's degree (or equivalent) and 15 - 20 years experience in Information Systems, Information Security, IT, EE, Network Engineering, Computer Science of prior relevant experience
•Significant experience (5+ years) designing, building and curating cloud management capabilities and offerings at enterprise scale
•In-depth understanding of application, cloud, middleware, data management, cyber, enterprise IT, data center optimization and SDN concepts; experience leading the design and integration of enterprise-level technical solutions.
•Ability to obtain security clearance.
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•Experience supporting federal customers’ implementation of cloud technology
•AWS, Azure and/or GCP certifications

Pay Range:
Pay Range $142,350.00 - $219,000.00 - $295,650.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
